It is more amazing than I can describe. A lot of their residents are very active. They have their own private golf course. Their apartments have bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms. Each one of them has a beautiful view.
Then there is a third level and it is for people that are mentally impaired. People who are fairly wealthy here want to go there. If you're very old and just wanted to retire and have people take care of you, I definitely recommend Azalea Trace if you could get in. Azalea Trace was a very nice facility, but I wasn't impressed with it. It just didn't seem bright and cheerful. I don't know if it was an older facility or not, but it was a progressive facility and this was one of the good things about it.

I know it is hard to get help these days but that is true everywhere. The nurses and everyone were great though. They are very professional and take wonderful care of my mother from what I can see . Most of all , their staff knows how to handle dementia people and very importantly know how to diffuse a situation with... They had nice grounds and places for people to walk and sit. They had activities for their residents, such as special nights where all would come dressed up, get served, eat in the dining hall, and have some entertainment. They seemed to really be on top of that and people enjoyed it. They had assisted living care right there on campus and once you were able to get your family member in , if they needed a higher level of care, they could move to that. Everything would be covered, and you'd still pay the same price. They have 110 beds and a daily average of 80.9 residents .
The facility was clean and had a very relaxed " Home" atmosphere. The employee's seemed very genuine regarding their concern for comfort of their residents. The dining area was decorated very nicely and the color scheme was inviting and cheery.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good tour but we just did not get an overwhelming sense that this was the place for our loved one. I really do like the Capstone Senior Living community and if I ever needed their services again I would go back. However they need to improve and badly improve on their meals and dining service - the meals... We had a wonderful experience with this home.
